Where the data comes from — and your options.
Fraktix is a directory built from official public government registries. This page explains our sources, how we handle the data, and how a carrier can correct or remove its listing.
Last updated: 2026 · This is a plain-English summary, not legal advice.
Where our data comes from
Every record traces to an official public government registry:
- United States — the U.S. Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA): Company Census, Licensing & Insurance, safety and crash files, published on data.transportation.gov.
- United Kingdom — the Driver & Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA) Vehicle Operator Licensing.
- France — the SITR national register of road-freight operators.
We do not scrape private websites or purchase mystery data. We normalise, deduplicate and date these public filings; we do not create facts about a company beyond what the registries publish or what we can verify. See our methodology for how we check data quality.
Privacy & contact information
Business identity, location, fleet and compliance data shown in the public directory come from public registries. We do not publish personal contact details (direct emails or phone numbers) in the open directory — where present in source data they are masked, and full verified contact data is provided only through paid Data Services engagements to vetted business customers, subject to applicable law (including CAN-SPAM and, for EU/UK data, UK GDPR / GDPR).
Correct or remove your listing
Because every row comes straight from an official registry, the most durable fix is at the source — update your MCS-150 (US), operator licence (UK) or SITR record (FR), and it flows into our next monthly refresh. If you need a correction or removal handled directly, or you believe information is inaccurate, email [email protected] with your DOT / licence number and we'll act on it.
